Attorneys from the Cvjetićanin&partners law office will hold a lecture on “Employment and residence of foreigners in Serbia” – new legal regulations

Attorneys Nenad Cvjetićanin and Milica Čučković will hold a lecture on “Employment and residence of foreigners in Serbia”. The lecture concerns the new Law on Amendments to the Law on Foreigners and the Law on Employment of Foreigners. The proposed changes have been adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and it is expected that the changes will also be adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

Some of the topics that will be covered include:

• the right of foreigners to stay and work temporary in Serbia,
• a unique procedure for the required verification,
• procedure for approval of temporary residence,
• procedure for approval of a work permit,
• electronic procedure for submitting a request for issuing a single permit,
• issuance of a unique residence permit,
• introduction of stricter sanctions for non-compliance with the provisions of the Law on Foreigners and the Law on Employment of Foreigners.

The lecture will be held on April 28th, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., organized by Kurs Kreator, via the Zoom platform.
